Mastercard SecureCode enhances your current Republic Bank Credit Card account to protect against unauthorized use of your Republic Bank Credit Card when you shop at participating merchants. Your card is registered with this additional protection at the time of opening.
Republic Bank may use a One-Time Passcode to verify your identity as an added protection against online fraud. During online shopping when a transaction presented is considered high risk, you may be asked to authenticate using a one-time passcode. This one-time password will be sent to your mobile device. Once received you will enter the code on the merchants website site in the “Enter One-Time Passcode” field. Once confirmed the transaction will be approved.
